Amouranth thinks the Twitch ban is too “risky” for her
When discussing banning streamers to boost their reputation and whether it is a “great marketing tactic,” Amouranth explains why it has its advantages but says It was simply too risky for her.
“Maybe,” she said. “The only thing that could be negative is the duration. I never intentionally got banned, I just felt it was too risky and you never know when they will decide to give you a seven day or thirty day penalty [ban].”

Twitch’s inconsistency with bans is something Amouranth has encountered before. Back in 2022, she accused the platform’s Safety team of not even communicating with the rest of Twitch’s employees about the suspension.
That said, Siragusa believes it could be very beneficial for some streamers, depending on what they did to get banned.
Amouranth used a streamer who kept her camera on during sex as an example, saying the whole situation “worked in her favor,” as her ban only lasted a week.
“After all, she is a streamer of no one. It kind of put her on the map,” the OnlyFans model added.
Others may have adopted that strategy and run with it. Notably, streamer Kick HeelMike was briefly banned after a clip of him performing oral sex on stream went viral.
