BTS star Jungkook stunned fans after revealing his new short hairstyle on TikTok recently, after having long locks for months.

The lead singer of supergroup BTS has been growing his hair quite long for several months and even caused a stir when he had a curly bob earlier this year.

But on August 30, Jungkook surprised fans by appearing in a TikTok video with a refreshing short haircut to promote the Alesso remix version of the hit single ‘Seven’ (featuring Latto. )

In the clip, he slowly dances to the song and turns 360° to show off every aspect of his new short hairstyle, before performing the choreography of the song ‘Seven’.

While Jungkook was hoping that fans would take to his TikTok duet, the revelation that he cut off his long hair immediately sent the ARMY fanbase into a frenzy.

The 25-year-old’s hairstyle quickly attracted attention on various social media platforms, causing phrases like “His hair,” “Jungkook’s hair,” and “Kookie” to trend on Twitter.

ARMY in the video said the idol looks much cuter and younger, affectionately calling him “boba Jungkook” and “baby”.

“HIS HAIR IS SO CUTE,” one person wrote. “Boba Jungkook is active again, I’m so happy!” another said. “He looks younger with this new hairstyle,” a third person commented. “Baby face JK,” another added.

Others are not quite ready to accept drastic change. “I already miss long hair,” one person shared. “No, I really like his long hair but he still looks great,” another said.

Earlier this month, Jungkook received the long-awaited blue verification mark on TikTok, after he accidentally exposed his account on Weverse. During the live broadcast on August 29, the BTS star proudly declared himself a TikToker and promised to bring more interesting content to fans in the future.
