Joe Rogan was stunned by the custom sneakers YouTuber MARKO designed for him based on some of his own tattoos and his favorite books.

Customizing sneakers and shoes has always been a business in the sneakerhead community, but until the last few years it was often done for yourself. You put your name and some details you like on the sneakers and that’s it.

Now, sneakers and custom designs have become big business. A lot of athletes and celebrities have sported their favorite shoes with unique designs on them. Many athletes do it to show support for various causes and charities, as well as to show love to their families.

In the case of Joe Rogan, he was given a custom pair of sneakers by YouTuber Marko ahead of UFC 292. The shoes are designed around a few things he loves – including tattoos, life tips and advice. Hunting, of course.

In total, it took MARKO nine days to complete Rogan’s custom Puma shoes, as he replaced the iconic Puma logo with the JRE Podcast logo.

“Dude! These are amazing,” Rogan said after seeing them for the first time. pumping, thank you very much. Thank you.”

The main part of the design features the art style of Miyamoto Musashi and The Book of 5 Rings, which Rogan has talked about on numerous podcasts. Marko also added authentic archery targets to the heel, as well as incorporating Rogan’s Egyptian Pharoah tattoo on the tongue.

Given that this is a work of art for Rogan, it wouldn’t be complete without the aliens. So, naturally, they are included in the sole of the shoe.

The JRE host even made good on his promise to wear them during UFC 292’s weigh-in and hopes he’ll dig deeper into the upcoming episode at some point.
