Lizzy Hoo is gearing up for her Prime Video premiere with the streaming of her upcoming special Lizzy Hoo: Hoo Cares!? on Thursday, April 6, 2023. The hour-long comedy show will be available to view worldwide from midnight GMT.

Lizzy recalls father-daughter excursions to Malaysia, including one when she was four and another when she was twenty, paragliding to celebrate their mother’s 60th birthday, one of her brother’s aspirations to farm garden trout, and the his other brother’s wish to become a renowned YouTube Travel Blogger.”

Lizzy Hoo: Hoo cares!? was written and sung entirely by the 37-year-old, is directed by Catherine Van Der Wolf and produced by Lauren Moore and Georgina Ogilvie, with Kathleen McCarthy and Frank Bruzzese serving as executive producers.

Lizzy then goes on to comment on her family, particularly her mother and brother, before the video ends.
Lizzy Hoo tried stand-up comedy to boost her self-esteem.
Lizzy started doing stand-up comedy in 2017, hoping it would improve her self-esteem. This worked in her favor, as she was named a NSW state finalist in the RAW national comedy competition, Australia’s largest open mic comedy competition. The following year, she was asked to appear at the Sydney Opera House’s Just For Laughs Festival. Lizzy Hoo’s insightful and self-assured sense of humor quickly won fans around the world, and videos of her garnered millions of views online.
