Shroud beats Asmongold in terms of views on Twitch on the most watched Starfield launch day

Shroud beat Asmongold, CohhCarnage and many others to become the most watched Starfield Twitch channel on official launch day.

After years of development, Bethesda’s long-awaited Starfield space exploration game was finally released on September 6, 2023 to critical acclaim.

In a typical way, Twitch’s top creators have started streaming Starfield, and tens of thousands of fans flock to their channel throughout the day.

Former CS:GO pro Shroud led the way with the most hours watched live on Twitch, beating Asmongold and CohhCarnage in the process.

Shroud beats Asmongold for hours watched at Starfield

Thanks to the Streaming Graph, we know how many hours people watched live on Starfield Twitch on launch day.

With a total of over 2.4 million hours watched on Twitch, Streams Charts reveals that 185,000 of those hours have come from Shroud’s channel alone.

This is 75% more watch hours than the second and third most watched viewers, CohhCarnage and Asmongold. Shroud’s stream is also longer, just under two hours longer than Cohh’s.

Asmongold also did not stream on his own channel, but instead streamed the launch on his alternate Twitch account Zackrawrr, which typically has fewer viewers than his Asmongold channel.

Rounding out the rest of the list is Fextralife, who was recently criticized for “stealing views,” as well as names like MoonMoon, Summit1g, and Jenfoxxx.

JenFoxxx, aka IndieFoxx, was banned from the platform in 2021 but the order was lifted two years later, prompting her to celebrate with a massive 17k viewership.
